About SARAH

Guide to health, happiness, and healing

Sarah is a wellness guide using eastern and western sciences to help others step out of unhealthy inter-generational behaviors, choose health, happiness, and healing, and elevate to their higher potential.

Gratitude

I am infinitely grateful to all my Teachers who have shared their wisdom and without whose generosity I would not be the guide I am today.

It was not until becoming a mother that Sarah was forced to reexamine her life path and experience of wellness.

Her calling to serve and uplift the wellness of others and our planet naturally led her to the science of Ayurveda, although the path was not always straightforward. After years of exploring seemingly disparate careers in Italian, Buddhism, and early childhood, it was not until becoming a mother that Sarah was forced to reexamine her life path and experience of wellness.

Unexpectedly overwhelmed by the emotional, energetic, and physiological demands of motherhood, Sarah returned to and more deeply immersed herself in the wellness practices of her past. Tibetan Buddhism and Yoga, and later mental health and mindfulness approaches, became daily antidotes to pacify the shadows of her soul, and most importantly, to illuminate the path toward more compassion and wisdom for self and others.

Recently Featured Work

After a transformative trek and retreat in the Himalayas of Nepal, Sarah completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification with Soul Culture Yoga School and 100-hour Yoga Therapy Training for Emotional Health and Healing with Soulful Yoga Therapy. Then came the persistent suggestions of Ayurveda.

All the suffering there is in this world arises from wishing our self to be happy. All the happiness there is in this world arises from wishing others to be happy.”

― Shantideva

Though initially resistant to learning yet another approach to wellness and eager to dive into her burgeoning path of leadership and service, Sarah eventually followed the signs and completed 200 hours of preliminary study in Ayurveda at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, followed by over 400 hours in Ayurvedic Health Counseling with Boston Ayurveda School. She is now enrolled in the 900 hour Ayurvedic Health Practitioner program with Kerala Ayurveda Academy.

Also equipped with a Master’s degree in child and family development and certificates in child and family interventions, much of Sarah’s work has focused on supporting the wellness of parents and other adults who impact children.

Sarah currently works as NAMA certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and joined the faculty of the Boston Ayurveda School in fall 2021. Sarah also teaches meditation, breath-work, and other mindfulness practices to individuals, groups, and organizations, and has several entrepreneurial projects in development.

Although a California native at heart, with jaunts in Italy and India, Sarah spent fourteen years in Massachusetts and most recently settled with her family in rural Vermont where she enjoys the rejuvenating continuum of the natural elements that abound.
